Isabel goes home

We were released from the hospital on Thursday, however due to a little jaundice issue we decided to stay in Fairbanks that night so that Isabel could have the bilirubin levels in her blood checked the next day. Although she looks a bit suspicious of the car seat in the photo, she did well in it. On Friday the blood test results were good enough for us to take her home for the weekend, so we headed south.
The dogs didn't seem too concerned about the arrival of Isabel. They gave her a couple sniffs and seem a little interested when she makes little chipmunk chirps.
After a long night of night owling followed by a long morning of also not sleeping, Isabel finally falls asleep on the quilt that her great grandma Irene made for her.

Love the pictures, now here she looks like a new baby. My favorite is still the one from the first day when she had the hat and dress and leggings. That is my screen saver. But one worry from this Grandma - you are in Alaska and Isabel should have on at least 3 blankets in the car. (haha)
Love ya all

Very cute pictures. The car seat one is funny. Hopefully the nursing is going well. The kids and I look at the pictures a few times a day. Love to hear every little update!
